Summary
This study tested a special belt-like device (AAJT-S) that temporarily squeezes the main belly artery to stop life-threatening bleeding after childbirth when standard treatments fail. Four women in a war-affected region received the device to buy time for surgery or blood transfusions. The goal was to see if the device could quickly control bleeding and help stabilize the mother.
