New drug trial offers hope for kids with rare eye disorder

NCT ID NCT07298928

Summary

This study is testing whether a drug called Telitacicept can help children with ocular myasthenia gravis, a condition that causes eye muscle weakness and drooping eyelids. The trial will involve 30 children under 18 who are already receiving standard treatments. Researchers want to see if this medication can better control symptoms and allow children to reduce or stop steroid medications that often cause side effects.
