First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study looked at whether doing yoga online for 8 weeks could improve balance, frailty, thinking skills, and quality of life in people who had a liver transplant. Eleven patients took part. The goal was to see if a convenient home-based program could help them feel better and move more steadily.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only, not medical advice or a prediction.
- Active substance
- online yoga
- What this could lead to
- If it works, this could offer a simple, home-based way to help liver transplant patients feel stronger and more balanced.
- What could go wrong
- This is a very small study with only 11 participants and no control group, so results may not apply widely. Online yoga may not be as effective as in-person sessions.
