First seen Feb 04, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study tested a therapy where chronic stroke patients watched simple arm and hand actions on a screen and then imitated them, either via video calls (telerehabilitation) or in person. The goal was to see if this approach could improve arm function, daily living activities, and quality of life. The study included 26 adults who had a stroke 6 to 36 months earlier and had some arm movement remaining.
