Phone therapy vs. clinic visits: which helps ankle fractures heal better?
NCT ID NCT06811090
Summary
This study tested whether a home-based rehabilitation program delivered via smartphone could help people recover from an ankle fracture as well as traditional in-person physical therapy. Researchers compared 200 patients who either followed guided exercises on a phone app or attended clinic sessions for four weeks. The goal was to see which approach better improved patients' ability to move and their overall quality of life.
