Virtual vs clinic opioid treatment: which works better?

NCT ID NCT05339256

Summary

This study compares two ways of delivering buprenorphine medication for opioid addiction: through telehealth video visits versus traditional in-person clinic visits. Over 12 weeks, 50 participants will receive either remote or clinic-based treatment to see which approach helps people stay in treatment longer. The research aims to understand if comprehensive telehealth care can be as effective as standard clinic treatment for managing opioid use disorder.
