Virtual doctor visits vs clinic appointments: which works better for opioid treatment?
NCT ID NCT05339256
Summary
This study tests whether treating opioid addiction through video calls works as well as traditional in-person clinic visits. 50 people with opioid addiction will receive buprenorphine medication either through telemedicine or at a clinic for 12 weeks. Researchers will compare how long people stay in treatment between the two approaches to see if remote care is effective.
