Summary
This study tested whether a simple, low-cost video call system could help doctors remotely assess children with breathing distress while they were being transported by ambulance. Twenty children with respiratory illness were included. The goal was to see if the video assessment matched the in-person assessment and if the system was easy to use for both doctors and ambulance staff.
