First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study tests whether a 12-week personalized aerobic exercise program, done at home with remote guidance, can improve heart and lung fitness, control disease activity, and boost quality of life in adults with mild or inactive inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). About 28 participants will be split into two groups: one starts exercise right away, the other waits 12 weeks before starting. Everyone will track symptoms and have regular check-ups.
