VA tests At-Home exercise to help veterans walk past leg pain
NCT ID NCT05048979
Summary
This study is testing whether a supervised exercise program delivered through video calls can help veterans with peripheral artery disease (PAD) walk farther and improve their quality of life. The program aims to overcome barriers for veterans, especially those in rural areas, who have trouble accessing in-person therapy. Researchers will measure changes in walking distance, pain levels, and overall well-being after 3 months of remote coaching.
