Virtual visits aim to help seniors with cancer plan their future care
NCT ID NCT04745676
Summary
This small pilot study tested whether a telehealth program could help older patients with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) or myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) plan for their future medical care. Researchers wanted to see if the online program was easy to use and acceptable to patients, their caregivers, and doctors. The goal was to improve communication about care preferences and quality of life for people with these serious blood cancers.
