Summary
This study tested a new telecare model for adults aged 80 and older in Bogotá. The goal was to see if personalized support through a simple device could improve physical health, prevent falls, and reduce hospital visits. 155 participants were split into two groups: one received the telecare program with health tips and case management, while the other got usual care. The researchers measured changes in physical performance and well-being over time.
