Virtual workouts may lift spirits and social life for spinal cord injury patients

Summary
This study tests whether an 8-week virtual group exercise program can improve mood, confidence, and social participation in people with spinal cord injury. About 35 adults who have had an injury for at least a year will join online classes twice a week, led by a fitness instructor and a peer with SCI. Researchers will measure changes in depression, self-esteem, pain, sleep, and quality of life through surveys and interviews.
