First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study tested a new painkiller called tegileridine in 150 adults who had gallbladder surgery. Half received the drug and half received a placebo, along with standard pain management. The goal was to see if tegileridine reduces pain and the need for extra pain medicine in the first two days after surgery. The results will help doctors understand if this drug is a safe and effective option for managing post-surgery pain.
