Summary

This study tested a new painkiller called tegileridine in 150 adults recovering from gallbladder surgery. Half received the drug, half received a placebo, and all had access to standard pain relief. The goal was to see if tegileridine reduces pain and the need for other opioids in the first two days after surgery.
