NCT ID NCT04638205

First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study looked at the stressful life events teens experienced in the year before a suicide attempt. Researchers compared 39 teens who had attempted suicide with teens who had never had suicidal thoughts. They wanted to see if there was a pattern of increasing hardship that could predict an attempt. The goal is to help doctors and families spot warning signs earlier.
