Smart mat fights dementia and falls with fun games for seniors
NCT ID NCT06664229
Summary
This study is testing a new exercise mat with built-in pressure sensors and a screen to see if it can help prevent dementia and falls in older adults. Participants stand on the mat and follow on-screen games and balance exercises in group sessions led by a coach. Researchers will compare the group using the mat to a similar group that does not use it, measuring changes in memory, balance, and physical fitness over 16 weeks.
