First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 30 times

Summary

This study tests a program called VIVE-AT that uses assistive technology to help older Latinos with physical disabilities improve their daily function and quality of life. About 76 participants aged 65 and older from a low-income clinic in Puerto Rico will either receive the program or be placed on a waitlist. The goal is to see if this culturally tailored approach can bridge gaps in primary care for underserved communities.
