New heat therapy may speed up calf strain recovery in athletes
NCT ID NCT07562360
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study looks at whether Tecar therapy, a type of deep heat treatment, can help athletes recover from calf muscle strains. Sixty people aged 16-39 with a recent strain will receive the therapy along with exercise. Researchers will measure injury size and landing quality to see if it improves healing and function.
