Electrical therapy tested to soothe painful C-Section scars
NCT ID NCT05696301
Summary
This study tested whether a treatment called tecar therapy could reduce pain in women with painful scars from a cesarean section. Tecar therapy uses gentle electrical currents applied to the skin. Women in the study received either the real therapy or a fake (placebo) version, along with standard scar massage instructions, to see if the therapy helped ease their pain.
