New combo therapy aims to boost survival in esophageal cancer patients
NCT ID NCT06676449
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether adding immunotherapy to a precise type of radiotherapy (sparing tumor-draining lymph nodes) and chemotherapy can help adults with advanced esophageal cancer live longer without the disease getting worse. About 432 participants will receive either the combination or standard treatment. The goal is to see if the new approach is more effective and safe.
