Quick blood test could cut ER wait times for head injuries

NCT ID NCT07373509

Summary

This study is testing a new, quick blood test to help emergency room doctors decide which patients with a mild head injury need a CT scan. Researchers want to see if using this test can reduce the number of unnecessary scans and shorten how long patients wait in the ER. They will also survey doctors and patients to understand what helps or hinders using this new tool in daily practice.
