First seen Nov 18, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study tests a new tuberculosis (TB) vaccine called ID93/GLA-SE for safety and immune response. 48 healthy adults, some previously vaccinated with BCG and some not, will receive the new vaccine and then be exposed to a harmless aerosol form of BCG to see how their immune systems react. The goal is to gather early data on whether the new vaccine might work better than BCG alone.
