First seen May 13, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests whether combining video directly observed therapy (vDOT) with financial incentives helps more people complete treatment for latent tuberculosis. About 399 adults in Baltimore starting latent TB treatment will either receive usual care or the extra support. The goal is to see if the intervention raises the percentage of people who take at least 80% of their prescribed doses.
