Summary
This study tested an experimental vaccine called H56:IC31 to see if it could lower the chance of tuberculosis (TB) coming back in people who had already been successfully treated. About 831 HIV-negative adults in South Africa and Tanzania took part. Half got the vaccine and half got a placebo, and researchers tracked how many got TB again over time.
