First seen May 09, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study looks at the tiny organisms (microbes) living in the lungs of people with active tuberculosis (TB). Researchers want to understand how these microbes change with treatment and affect the body's immune response. They will study 150 adults, including those with TB and healthy volunteers, using lung samples and blood tests. The goal is to find new ways to diagnose or treat TB by targeting these lung microbes.
