NCT ID NCT05285202
First seen Mar 17, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study tests two strategies for finding tuberculosis (TB) cases and linking people to preventive treatment in peri-urban Uganda. One approach screens people at health clinics, while the other sends mobile teams into neighborhoods thought to have the most undiagnosed TB. Researchers will compare which method finds more TB cases and gets more people on preventive therapy. The study involves 150,000 participants and aims to improve TB control efforts.
