New drug candidate TB-500 tested for heart disease safety

Summary
This study tests a new drug called TB-500 in people with stable heart disease caused by plaque buildup in arteries. The main goal is to check if the drug is safe and tolerable. Researchers will also look at markers of blood vessel health and inflammation. About 80 adults aged 40-75 with stable heart disease will receive either TB-500 or a placebo.
