New heart valve procedure tested for common birth defect

Summary
This study is testing a less invasive procedure to replace a narrowed heart valve in people born with a two-leaflet (bicuspid) aortic valve. The procedure, called TAVR, is delivered via a catheter through a blood vessel, avoiding open-heart surgery. It aims to see if this approach is safe and effective for patients who are otherwise healthy enough for traditional surgery.
