First seen Dec 10, 2025 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study compares two types of nerve blocks (PENG block and fascia iliaca block) to standard local anesthesia for pain control during a minimally invasive heart valve replacement called TAVI. Researchers will measure how much sedation patients need during the procedure and their pain levels afterward. The goal is to find the best way to keep patients comfortable and safe during this common heart treatment.
