Summary
This study tests a new surgical technique called transanal total mesorectal excision (taTME) for rectal cancer. The approach works from the bottom up to remove the tumor, which may be easier and safer than traditional methods. The study involves 100 adults with rectal cancer and aims to see if this surgery is as effective as standard procedures in removing the cancer completely.
