Summary
This study tested a new, taste-masked powder form of the antibiotic delafloxacin to see if it works as well as the current tablet. Sixteen healthy adults took either the powder or the tablet, and researchers measured how much of the drug got into their blood. The goal was to make a version that is easier for people with pneumonia to take, especially those who have trouble swallowing pills.
