New sleep drug tested in major insomnia study
NCT ID NCT06956495
Summary
This study tested whether a new drug called tasipimidine helps people with insomnia. Researchers compared it to a placebo (a dummy pill) in 190 adults to see if it helped them fall asleep faster and wake up less during the night. Participants took the drug for a few nights in a sleep clinic, and some continued taking it at home for four weeks while their sleep was monitored.
