New pill aims to tame sleepless nights

NCT ID NCT06956495

Summary

This study tested whether a new drug called tasipimidine helps people with insomnia fall asleep faster and stay asleep longer. Researchers compared it to a placebo (a dummy pill) in 190 adults who had trouble sleeping for at least three months. Participants' sleep was carefully measured in a sleep clinic and at home to see if the drug was effective and safe.
