New hope for stubborn concussion symptoms: tailored therapy shows promise
NCT ID NCT04549532
Summary
This study tested a personalized treatment program for adults with complex concussion symptoms that weren't improving on their own. 169 participants aged 18-49 received either a tailored plan targeting their specific issues (like dizziness, headaches, or sleep problems) or standard general advice. Researchers measured symptoms, brain activity, and recovery time to see which approach worked better.
