Double-Dose stem cell therapy shows promise for tough childhood cancer

Summary

This study tests a two-step treatment for children and young adults with high-risk neuroblastoma. After initial chemotherapy, patients receive two rounds of very strong chemotherapy, each followed by a transplant of their own stem cells. The goal is to improve the time without the cancer coming back. The study is currently recruiting 12 participants.
