New drug combo shows promise for tough lung cancer

Summary

This study tests a combination of two drugs, talazoparib and temozolomide, in people with extensive-stage small cell lung cancer that has come back or not responded to initial chemotherapy. The goal is to see if this combination can shrink tumors or slow cancer growth. About 35 adults with this aggressive lung cancer are taking part.
