Summary

This early-phase study tests a new drug called TAK-243 in people whose acute myeloid leukemia or myelodysplastic syndrome has returned or stopped responding to treatment. The main goals are to find the best dose and check for side effects. TAK-243 works by blocking enzymes that cancer cells need to grow.
