New triple therapy aims to control blood cancer
NCT ID NCT05943496
First seen Nov 06, 2025 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This early-stage trial tests the safety and effectiveness of combining three drugs (tafasitamab, acalabrutinib, and obinutuzumab) in people with previously untreated chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) or small lymphocytic lymphoma (SLL). The study involves 27 adults who will receive the drugs to help stop cancer cells from growing. Because CLL/SLL typically requires ongoing treatment, this approach aims to control the disease rather than cure it.
