First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study is testing whether a safe, non-invasive brain stimulation technique called tACS can improve cognitive abilities like memory and attention in people with Lewy body dementia. Forty participants will receive either real or placebo stimulation for two weeks, and their thinking skills and brain activity will be measured before, after, and at a follow-up visit. The goal is to see if this approach is safe, practical, and helpful for easing dementia symptoms.
