Summary

This study tested whether adding specially prepared donor white blood cells to reduced anti-rejection medication works better than just reducing medication alone to treat a type of lymphoma that can occur after an organ transplant. It involved 50 patients who had developed this Epstein-Barr virus-linked cancer after receiving a heart, lung, liver, or kidney transplant. The goal was to see if the donor cells could help the patient's immune system fight the cancer more effectively.
