Personalized immune cells take aim at Tough-to-Treat cancers

Summary
This study is testing a new personalized treatment for adults with advanced solid tumors that have returned or stopped responding to standard therapies. Doctors take a patient's own immune cells, modify them in a lab to better target their cancer, and then infuse them back. The goal is to see if this approach, given alone or with the drug nivolumab, is safe and can shrink tumors.
