Experimental immune cell therapy targets stubborn virus in vulnerable patients

Summary
This early-stage study is testing a new therapy for people with chronic norovirus infections who have weakened immune systems, such as after a stem cell or organ transplant. Doctors will give participants special immune cells (T-cells) trained to fight norovirus to see if the treatment is safe. The main goal is to check for side effects, while also seeing if the treatment reduces the amount of virus in the body.
