New study tracks immune cells in leukemia patients to predict transplant outcomes

Summary
This study is for people with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) who are getting a stem cell transplant. Researchers will use advanced genetic testing to track changes in immune cells (T-cells) before and after the transplant. The goal is to learn how the immune system affects recovery, risk of graft-versus-host disease, and relapse. About 250 participants will be followed for up to one year.
