New hope for Hard-to-Treat breast cancer: phase 3 trial launches

Summary

This study tests a new drug called SYS6010 against standard chemotherapy in people with advanced breast cancer that has not responded to previous treatments. The cancer must be HER2-negative and EGFR-positive. About 400 participants will be randomly assigned to receive either SYS6010 or a standard chemo drug. The goal is to see if SYS6010 can delay cancer growth and improve survival.
