New hope for hard-to-treat breast cancer: experimental drug SYS6010 enters final testing phase

NCT ID NCT07406542

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests a new drug called SYS6010 against standard chemotherapy in people with a specific type of advanced breast cancer (HER2-negative, EGFR-positive) that has come back or spread. About 400 adults who have already tried 1-2 chemotherapy treatments will be randomly assigned to get either SYS6010 or a standard chemo drug. The goal is to see if SYS6010 helps control the cancer longer without it growing.
