New cell therapy takes on stubborn leukemia in early trial

Summary

This early study tests a new treatment called SYNCAR-100 in 16 adults with a type of blood cancer (B-ALL) that has come back or not responded to standard therapy. The treatment is given once a week for four weeks. The main goal is to check safety and side effects, and also to see if the cancer shrinks or disappears. Participants will be followed for at least a year, and up to 15 years, to monitor long-term health.
