First seen Feb 02, 2026 · Last updated Jun 11, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study tests a new way to remove small lung tumors using a 3D computer model and a dye that makes the tumor glow during surgery. The goal is to help surgeons remove only the diseased part of the lung, avoiding a full lobe removal. About 32 adults with early-stage lung cancer will take part to see if this approach is safe and works well.
