Can a monthly symptom check boost kidney Patients' Well-Being?

NCT ID NCT07186218

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 10, 2026 · Updated 37 times

Summary

This study tests whether having people with advanced chronic kidney disease report their symptoms each month through an app—and sharing those results with their kidney doctor—can improve their quality of life. About 70 adults with stage 4 or 5 kidney disease will either use the app or receive usual care for 12 months. The goal is to see if this approach helps doctors better recognize and treat symptoms that often go unnoticed.
