First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated May 26, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study tests whether a simple swallowing training program can improve swallowing function and safety in older adults (60+) with mild swallowing difficulties. About 474 participants will practice the program and be monitored for choking, nutrition, and quality of life. The goal is to see if this easy, at-home exercise can reduce daily choking and improve well-being.
